Welcome! Family Matters is a collection of data, photos, histories, and stories about those families brought together through the marriage of Kathleen Ann Horan and William John Grambsch. Following the discovery of the Potvin Family Group sheet in 2005, the study of family history and genealogy research began. I will always be grateful to my paternal grandmother Ruth Florence Potvin and her sister Ruby Agnes Potvin, for the research they began, and then shared with their descendants at a family reunion in 1984. Bill is grateful to his grandfather Rinold Herman Grambsch for writing \"The First 100 Years\", a brief history of the Grambsch family, in 1955. Family history research is a life time adventure that really has no end. All genealogical information on this site has been extensively researched. Thus far, our research has taken us to places in Minnesota and Wisconsin, Ireland, and Quebec, We look forward to future research trips in Scotland, France, England and Germany.
